Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and TransferTrack ("TransferTrack," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the TransferTrack website, waitlist, mobile app, Advisor, community features, subscriptions, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, joining the waitlist, or purchasing TransferTrack Pro, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. Agreement and eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use TransferTrack. The Service is intended for users in the United States. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and any rules that apply to your school, housing, scholarship, or transfer process.
2. What TransferTrack provides
TransferTrack provides educational planning tools and general information for transfer students, including transfer planning, course and credit tracking, cost comparison, school and scholarship information, housing search, community posts and reviews, and Advisor.
TransferTrack is not a college, academic advisor, attorney, licensed financial advisor, landlord, real-estate broker, scholarship sponsor, admissions office, or government service. TransferTrack helps you plan ahead, compare your options, and keep everything in one place. Because schools update their details often, we recommend confirming the final specifics, like deadlines, tuition, financial aid, credit transfer, scholarship terms, and housing, with the official source before you submit an application, make a payment, or commit to a decision.
3. Accounts
Keep your login details secure and avoid sharing them with others. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. If you ever notice anything unusual or think someone has accessed your account without permission, email us at support@transfertrack.org and we will help you secure it.
4. Community rules
TransferTrack's community is for transfer students helping each other. Keep it useful, honest, and respectful. You may not use the Service to harass, threaten, bully, impersonate others, post hate speech, post sexual or illegal content, share private information, run scams, post fake reviews, post paid reviews, spread admissions misinformation, infringe copyrights, scrape the Service, attack the Service, evade bans, sell accounts, or use TransferTrack for fraud or unsafe housing activity.
To post, comment, or leave a course review, you need a community profile and an account in good standing. We may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or other users. The Community Guidelines spell out the full rules and how reporting, blocking, and bans work.
5. Your content
You own the profile information, posts, comments, and reviews you create. By posting content, you give TransferTrack a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content inside the Service so we can operate and improve TransferTrack.
You are responsible for your content and must have the right to share it. Do not post content that violates someone else's rights or creates legal, safety, or privacy risk.
6. Advisor
Advisor uses AI to generate responses and can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. It does not provide legal, medical, licensed financial, admissions, housing, or academic counseling advice. It cannot guarantee admission, financial aid, scholarships, housing, course equivalency, graduation timing, or credit transfer.
The free tier currently includes 5 Advisor messages per month. TransferTrack Pro currently includes up to 100 Advisor messages per month as a fair-use limit. See the Advisor AI Policy for more detail on how Advisor works and what it should not be used for.
7. TransferTrack Pro
TransferTrack Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the app platform. Current pricing is $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year. Eligible users may be offered a free trial. Before you confirm a purchase, the App Store shows the trial length, the renewal price, the renewal date, and the subscription terms.
Payment is charged through the app platform account used for purchase. Subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel an active subscription in your device subscription settings. Refunds are handled by the app platform under its policies.
If Pro lapses, your account returns to the free tier. Your saved data stays, but Pro-only limits and features are unavailable until you subscribe again.
8. Waitlist and email
If you join the waitlist, we use your email to confirm your sign-up, send launch updates, and occasionally ask for product feedback. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or emailing support@transfertrack.org. We may still send transactional emails, such as messages about your account, security, or purchases, when they are needed to provide the Service.
9. Account deletion
You can delete your app account in Settings by selecting Delete account. More detail is available in the Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual property
TransferTrack's app, website, design, logo, text, software, and brand belong to TransferTrack or its licensors. Do not copy, misuse, reverse engineer, redistribute, or exploit them except as allowed by law or with written permission.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, TransferTrack is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions you make based on information in the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as TransferTrack changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
